Program Purpose
This program exists to cultivate and recognize upstanding firefighters who are dedicated to honoring the legacy of the fallen FDNY firefighters of 9/11 and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice since. Through their active involvement in memorial stair climb events, these individuals embody and promote the values of service, sacrifice, and remembrance.

Ambassador Role

Ambassadors serve as representatives of the memorial stair climb community within their own departments and the broader communities where they live and work. This title is a distinction earned through commitment and integrity—it is not given lightly, nor is it permanent. Should an Ambassador act in a way that disrespects or damages the honor of this role, the title may be revoked.

Join Our Mission – Become an Ambassador
We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about upholding our unwavering promise to “Never Forget.” Ambassadors play a vital role in encouraging others to take part in our mission—to honor the memory of the fallen FDNY firefighters of 9/11 and beyond.
If you are someone who feels called to support and spread the values of remembrance, service, and community, then this program is for you. As an Ambassador, you will not only represent the memorial stair climb community, but also inspire others within your department and local area to join in this meaningful cause.
We welcome you with open arms to help share in the purpose and the lasting impact of our promise. Together, we can ensure their legacy is never forgotten.

Applicant Requirements:

  • You must have participated in 10 Memorial Stair Climb Events, with 5 of those completed at the KC Event.
  • Applicants must be outstanding members of both their communities as well as their departments.
  • Our Ambassadors are not only leaders, but torchbearers of the legacy left behind by those who made the ultimate sacrifice. As such, applicants are required to hold up these values.

"As an ambassador of this event I swear to continue to protect my brother's honor."

This is the first of it's kind. We are the pilot program. We continue to work to encourage other events to start this program as well. In the future this program may include events and other exclusive opportunities.

2025 Kansas City Ambassador Program Application

All applicants will be notified by August 31st, 2025 if your application has been approved. If accepted into the program, there will be a mandatory attendance to the brotherhood bash for swearing in.
